- Title
SOME HOLOCAUST AND JUDAICA ARTEFACTS AND THE STORIES BEHIND THEM.
- Authors
Fine, Jeff
- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights on the story behind the stolen Customs Jewish artefacts by the Nazis from homes and synagogues across Europe. The author says that Czechoslovakian artist Leo Haas made drawings documenting ghetto life including people searching for food, the sick, and portraits of inmates. He mentions the story of his friend's mother, a survivor from Warsaw Ghetto who asked him to use the drawings that she provided to teach and tell the people about the ghetto life.
