- Authors
JIBRIL, MUTALIB
- Abstract
This article discusses the potential downsides of mixing medication with food, using the example of a man named Musa who tried to incorporate his medication into his nightly eba dinners. As Musa's experiment progressed, his acid reflux worsened, leading him to seek guidance from his healthcare team. They suggested that the starchy nature of eba might be interfering with the absorption of his medication, exacerbating his symptoms. Musa discontinued the practice and began taking his medication with water, which significantly improved his symptoms. The article emphasizes the importance of consulting a healthcare professional before mixing medication with food, as certain foods can affect drug absorption and efficacy.
