- Abstract
The purpose ofthe present research notes is to systemize andformidate the characteristic peculiarities of the static and dynamic hypoxic adaptation with qualified athletes in synchronized swimming. Research subject is the indexes, which manifestation defines the process of static and dynamic hypoxic adaptation and their individual characteristics with qualified synchronized swimmers. Research object were 51 individuals total out of which 23 students at the NSA (FINA women age group) and 28 (FINA junior age group) out of which 14 synchronized swimmers from Greece - 8 in the town of Larissa team and 8 from Hanja - Cyprus Island, and 14 from the Turkish team of Istanbul. Research methods: Static apnoea measured by standard methodology, which defines two kinds of static apnoea: active and passive. The first is with lungs full of air and the second one - out of air. Static apnea at the depth of 1,5 m under the water has been copied of the methodology of the Bulgarian national synchro team (our proprietary scientific product). Dynamic apnea has been established through registering the performances at 25 m crawl and the series of 4 x 25 m underwater swimming. Frequency of heart contractions has been registered before and after static and dynamic effort. General conclusions: I. The frequency of heart contractions after an effort at static apnea above I minute decreases or remains equal to the one prior the effort; 2. The body of synchronized swimmers is getting adapted to apnea because of its regular application during the synchronized swimming training through specialized exercises of the obligatory and free programs; 3. The differences established in the static active and passive apnea values, on and under water, prove availability of different techniques when retaining breathing in synchronized swimming.
