- Abstract
The article presents a study which examined the level of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in dressinids, Dreissena bugensis and Dreissena polymorpha, and blue mussel, Mytilus edulis, based on the combined commercial gel permeation columns (GPC) and conventional high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Several variables are considered including the stability of the GPC system, the recuperation of PAH and the efficiency of the lipids by GPC system.
