- Abstract
The article discusses the linkage among bioenergy feedstock options, land use, and landscape dynamics. It says that land-use choices for bioenergy crops development affect various environmental factors including native carbon sequestration, air quality, and greenhouse gas emissions. It adds that land use linked with biofuels stimulates indirect land-use change. Moreover, bioenergy systems formed with rural development programs can enhance land-tenure rights and stop harmful land-use practices.
