- Abstract
The article presents a study which examines how spatial and environmental variables affect the introgression rate between native westslope cutthroat trout and introduced rainbow trout (RBT, Oncorhynchus mykiss) in British Columbia. It states that logistic regression and information-theoretic approach was used for predicting the introgression level between RBT and westlope cutthroat. It shows that of all the variables tested, propagule pressure index had the highest weight importance of 0.995.
