- Abstract
The article focuses on the level of Internet awareness among library users. The study conducted by the authors made use of 250 respondents from the Faculty of Arts of the Annamalai University in Tamilnadu, India who were asked to answer a well structured questionnaire. They revealed that, based on the returned questionnaires, Commerce students expressed that 57.50% of them have sufficient knowledge of the World Wide Web and that daily and adequate use of the library did not affect the respondent's Internet awareness. They conclude that there is no linear relationship between library users' library visits and their awareness of the Internet.
