- Abstract
The article offers information on the registration of Canstar field pea, which was developed at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, Morden Research Station, Morden, Manitoba, Canada. Canstar is a semileafless field pea cultivars with yellow cotyledons, medium seed size and resistant to powdery mildew. Its registration was issued on September 8, 2005 by the Variety Section, Plant Health and Plant Products Division, Canadian Food Inspection Agency. It was tested in the 2002-2003 Field Pea Cooperative Test B as MP1814, and its breeder seed was formed from one bulk-harvested plot at the 9th generations.
