- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the behavior of Histriobdella homari that was reported in the American Lobster. It is mentioned that Histriobdella homari is a marine representative of the known previously from the branchial chambers and egg masses of European lobster, Homarus vulgaris and the Norweigian lobster, Nephrops norvegicus. The author describes Histriobdella homari as a transparent annelid with 0.25 to 1.5 milimeter in length. Several experiments were conducted including water to lobster transfer and lobster to lobster transfer.
