- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the clinical result of the procedure of a unique medial collateral ligament (MCL) reconstruction using semitendinosus tendon autograft in patients with multiligamentous knee injuries. It mentions that 37 patients who sustained multiligamentous knee injuries underwent combined MCL and cruciate ligament reconstruction between 1994 and 2007. It concludes that MCL reconstruction for chronic combined knee instabilities can be done using hamstring tendon autografts.
