The article discusses the moral and ethical aspect of medical decisions relating to a patient's right to die, based on an actual case of a dying individual. The decisions entail several issues including the autonomy of a patient, the authenticity of the patient's decision to die, the medical indicators for this case. The role of a mother as a surrogate decision-maker is mentioned.
