This paper is no more than an outline of the autonomous art according to Adorno and its antithetical qualities in relation tothe culture industry. The loss of its end in the administered world, as well as what has become autonomy in modern art, are the most prominent questions which vertebrate this paper. Problems are analyzed both since the point of view of the theory and the reflection on art, and since the perspective of artists, in whose artistic praxis are developed aesthetics concepts.
