- Abstract
The article summarizes the book "Conspiracy Theories in the Pandemic: How Covid-19 was Communicated on the Internet" by Christian Fuchs. The author examines the phenomenon of conspiracy theories, particularly in relation to the Covid-19 pandemic and internet communication. He emphasizes that conspiracy theories are not new and often arise in uncertain times. Bill Gates is mentioned as a central figure in popular conspiracy theories during the Corona crisis. The book provides an introduction to the communication of Corona-related myths on the internet and analyzes various popular phenomena. The author discusses the role of capitalism as the main driver of crises and conspiracy theories and suggests that overcoming class society is a necessary condition for a world without ideology and conspiracy theories.
