- Title
A Remark on Ascending Chain Conditions, the Countable Axiom of Choice and the Principle of Dependent Choices.
- Authors
Diener, Karl-Heinz
- Abstract
The article discusses the ascending chain conditions, principle of dependent choices, and countable axiom of choice. It states that the axiom of dependent choices, which is restricted to partial orders as used in algebra applies the general form for arbitrary relations. It mentions that the ascending and descending chain conditions in modern algebra play a significant role.
