- Abstract
The article presents the socioeconomic adaptation and national inclusion of the interwar Bulgarian refugees. The Bulgarian state acknowledged the people in exile from the Ottoman Empire, Greece, Yugoslavia, and Romania and the interwar administrations were required to deal with a huge and varied populace that experienced ruthless socioeconomic tribulations and mental ordeal. Extended survival of socioeconomic and cultural hindrances to the adjustment of the new citizens are revealed.
