- Title
'Key role' for the veterinary profession in the inspection of livery yards.
- Abstract
The article reports on the possible requirement by British Veterinary Association for more veterinary inspectors when livery yard licensing will be introduced under the Animal Welfare Act. The legislation will provide the application of all livery yards including studs, competition yards, point-to-point yards and grass livery for a local authority license for approval. Presently, there are only about 250 veterinary surgeons who were authorized to inspect riding establishments in Great Britain.
