- Abstract
The authors comment on the psychological impact of the September 11 terrorist attacks on the health of survivors. They highlight the prevalence of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) symptoms among the survivors. They assert the need to provide mental health services for this group of population. The role of communities in preventive approaches for psychological problems is noted.
