- Abstract
The article presents a prospective study of pulmonary dysfunction in childhood hematologic malignancies survivors after undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). The study examined 660 baseline and follow-up pulmonary function tests of 89 pediatric hematologic malignancies and allo-HSCT survivors.It concludes the prevalence of abnormal pulmonary functions in allo-HSCT survivors which calls for improved monitoring, preventive, and management strategies.
