- Abstract
The article discusses recent changes in inflation expectations in Great Britain, and how the risk to inflation from inflation expectations has evolved during 2010-2012. It is stated that after its rise between 2010 and 2011, consumer price index (CPI) inflation has fallen from its peak value of 5.2 percent in September 2011 to 3.0 percent in April 2012. This fall has resulted in decline in some measures of households' inflation expectations.
