Title
Recent rise in Libor rates.
Abstract
The article offers information about Libor rates and provides explanation on how to calculate these rates. Libor, accordingly, stands for London interbank offered rate, while Libor rates are truncated averages of interbank rates submitted by a panel of banks. To compute, contributed rates are ranked orderly in order to determine the middle two quartiles averaged arithmetically, which will in return determine the fixing for that particular currency, maturity and fixing date.
