- Abstract
The article provides information on Oliver Cromwell Cox who was being called as a Marxist due to his views on race relations in the U.S. Cox was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad and was the son of Virginia Blake and William Raphael Cox. He went to the U.S. to take up law at the Northwestern University. He was greatly influenced by Karl Marx in the course of his study. As evidence, most of his works reflect on the view of Marx.
