- Abstract
This article presents interviews of three women related to dental care who migrated from different places to Canada. They are Amanda Hargreaves, a dental nurse at a practice in Manchester, Vanessa Lunt, a dental nurse and Deborah Walker a dental assistant. Hargreaves says that a Level 2 dental assistant is able to do much more in a Canadian practice than in Great Britain. Vanessa Lunt's main motivation for moving to Canada was a better life for her family. She moved to Oakville, Ontario nearly two years ago with her husband and two children, aged 14 and 12. Walker says that Canadian patients are happy to come to the dentist, and are very concerned about their oral health.
