The article focuses on a study on determination of the presence of paramagnons in the paramagnetic state at temperatures in TlCuCl3, a spin-gap magnetic compound. Topics include the impact of Néel temperature on the appearance of longitudinal gapped magnon (Higgs magnon) in magnetic system, the prediction of temperature evolution of the Higgs magnon gap by the Goldstone theory and an experiment by Philip Merchant and colleagues to measure paramagnon gap.
