The article offers science news briefs. The chief executive of the French electricity network RTE, Dominique Maillard, has warned that the March 20, 2015 solar eclipse will reduce photovoltaic power production across Europe. The U.S. and China announced a climate change agreement to cut emissions over the next two decades. The "Factor GMO" study of genetically modified (GM) corn, initiated by the Russian National Association for Genetic Safety (NAGS), will begin in 2015.
