- Abstract
The article focuses on the use of international law for reduction of odds of epidemics such as zoonotic diseases. Topics discussed include the factors that increase the chances of spillovers of zoonotic diseases such as increased exposure to wild animals, laws and regulations that address zoonotic diseases such as Ebola virus disease and SARS, and proposed legal frameworks that regulates these zoonotic diseases. It also mentions the U.S National Environmental Policy Act.
