- Abstract
In the article, the author discusses the importance of binaural hearing for people with hearing disabilities using cochlear implants (CI) by citing their study at the Binaural Hearing and Speech Lab at University of Wisconsin-Madison. The study focused on hearing speech in noise, listening effort, and sound localization. Other topics include the inter-aural time differences (ITD) and inter-aural level differences (ILD) of sound.
