Abstract
The article announces the awards given to young violinists. The winners of the 2006 Yehudi Menuhin International Competition for Young Violinists in Paris, France, include Sunao Goko, who won first prize for the Junior section and Hrachya Avanesyan, who won first prize for the Senior section. A $10,000 prize was awarded to Rachel Taylor, a 16-year-old violinist of San Anselmo, California, for winning a national competition for the best young classical musicians in the U.S.
