- Abstract
The purpose of this article is to analyze some aspects on how and why the others are recognized as full persons, and what are the social mechanisms that allow and justify some people being treated like objects, with oppressive and discriminatory methods. In my analysis I will discuss if intentional agency is a necessary element to any person construction model. Consideration of the intentionality as an exclusive human attribute is also under question. I will propose three explaining models to describe the way people relate with others and with the environment. These are: the literary type model, the agency dipole model and agency space model. Finally, I will restore the importance of the body as a main instance in person's construction, as important as subjectivity and environment circumstances.
