- Abstract
The article discusses the study about the biologically active compounds using the liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry (LC/MS) for indicating the aerial organs of the endemic species Berberis libanotica (Berberidaceae). Topics discussed include the alkaloids of the genus Berberis L. which possess antitumor and anti-inflammatory, the used of the tincture of B. libanotica aerial organs for folk medicine and the collected raw material for the study from the north of Lebanon.
