- Abstract
Quantitative calculation method of risk based inspection(RBI) was introduced, and a standardized data collection form for RBI evaluation was developed in the article. Furthermore, a risk assessment was conducted on 37 pressure pipelines in a shale gas gathering and transportation station using RBI technology, and corresponding inspection strategies were presented. The evaluation results indicated that equipment hazard can be decreased by 76.79% through RBI technology, which was of great significance for accurately controlling the threat of static equipment in stations and reducing the cost of equipment inspection and maintenance. The research results can provide reference for the risk assessment of static equipment in shale gas gathering and transmission stations, as well as support for the integrity management of static equipment.
