- Abstract
Objective To identify Pinellia ternata and counterfeit Pinellia pedatisecta through a rapid way. Methods Discriminant analysis and clustering analysis were used to identify Pinellia ternata and Pinellia pedatisecta through near infrared spectroscopy (NIR) combined with multiple pretreatment methods. At the same time, discriminant model was built. Results In 6600 ~5400 cm-1 wave band,identification accuracy was as high as 100% by original spectrum combined with multiplicative scatter correction (MSC) and standard normalvariate (SNV). Cluster analysis could effectively separate Pinellia ternata and Pinellia pedatisecta into two categories, the identification accuracy being 96.9%. Conclusion NIS is accurate and reliable, which can achieve the purpose of rapid identification.
