- Abstract
The article presents an explorative study of the ways in which students and lecturers are addressed in a literary studies university seminar. It shows how specific subject positions emerge for both the students and the lecturer through the interplay of the disciplinary knowledge practice of literary interpretation and the teaching practice of the university seminar. While from the perspective of research on literature teaching it becomes especially visible how the seminar enables and establishes an aesthetic attitude towards the work, from the perspective of research on the sociologocial aspects of teaching processes a specific seminaristic asymmterie in the subject relationship between student and lecturer gains significance.
