- Abstract
The article is an obituary in honor of Alba E. Mustaca, a prominent Argentine scientist dedicated to experimental psychology. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1943 and conducted research at the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET). Her most important contributions focused on the study of consummatory negative successive contrast (CSNc) as an animal model of the basic emotion of frustration. Alba trained a generation of students interested in research and received international recognition for her work. She passed away in April 2023.
