- Authors

- Abstract
The author reflects on the changes that happened in paediatric nursing in Great Britain. Currently there is a minister for children, a national clinical director, national standards in the form of a National Service Framework, a commissioner for children and integrated children's services inspections. The author asserts that there is still room for improvement in the provision of specialist services, a lack of focus on the needs of young people and a lack of specialist staff.
