- Abstract
The article focuses on a case of septic choroidal abscess in a 62-year-old man, highlighting the challenge of diagnosing occult septic metastases and the role of optical coherence tomography in detecting subtle changes in early endogenous endophthalmitis. Topics include the improvement of the choroidal lesion with systemic antibiotics, which does not necessarily predict the response of systemic antibiotics, and the evolution of the choroidal lesion into a macular scar despite treatment.
