- Abstract
The article discusses a research study which aimed to analyze political insights of playwright and activist Harold Pinter through his selected plays, speeches and interviews. In his 1984 political play "One for the Road," the abuse of political power and authority is addressed. Themes of oppression and autocracy are said to be evident in the play "Mountain Language" while the denial of human values is the focus of the play "The Hothouse."
