This paper studies the relationship between the wage structure and turnover in a `simple' search market. The simplicity of the market process revolves principally around the assumption that ex ante all potential job matches are equally preferred. This arises because the quality of a job match is an experience characteristic with the output and output-contingent wage offer being the result of a random process.
