- Abstract
The article discusses research related to cell biology. The study by Ungermann and colleagues found that the phosphorylation of homotypic fusion and vacuole protein sorting complex (HOPS) regulates the endosome-vacuoles fusion. Moreover, the study by Fang and colleagues revealed that the Warburg effect, which is the metabolism of aerobic glycolysis, sustained the high proliferative rates of cancer cells through the regulation of ectonucleoside triphosphate diphosphohydrolase 5 (ENTPD5).
