- Abstract
The article describes the case of a female patient in her 60s with an asymptomatic stricture of the middle thoracic esophagus caused by previous endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) who was diagnosed to have another superficial neoplasm that showed iodine unstained area after iodine staining in her lower thoracic esophagus. Topics include the removal of the lesion by repeat esophageal ESD and the findings of her esophagogastroscopy which showed a Mallory-Weiss tear at her cardia.
