- Abstract
The article discusses the U.S. Supreme Court's (USSC's) refusal to allow cameras in the courtroom as of December 2012, focusing on the relationships between the media and the USSC, as well as technology and the law. The USSC's apparent unwillingness to embrace modern communications technology is also addressed, along with the U.S. Judicial Conference's amendment of the Code of Conduct for federal judges in 1972 which prohibits courtroom photographs and recordings.
