- Abstract
This article presents a case study of a 59-year-old white male patient who initially presented with symptoms that were thought to be related to a type of vasculitis called granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA). However, further investigation revealed that the patient had a rare and aggressive subtype of non-Hodgkin lymphoma called extranodal natural killer/T cell lymphoma (ENKTL). The patient's symptoms included nasal obstruction, epistaxis, dysphagia, and odynophagia. The article emphasizes the importance of considering alternative diagnoses in cases of ANCA-negative vasculitis and the challenges in diagnosing ENKTL. Unfortunately, the patient's condition worsened despite treatment, and he ultimately passed away from respiratory complications.
