- Title
Changing Toward Participative Management Approaches: A Model and Method.
- Authors
Sashkin, Marshall
- Abstract
A typology of participative approaches and methods is applied to organizations. Mechanisms behind the methods are discussed; a causal model is developed; and sets of contingencies conditioning the operation of the model are described. Issues around change toward participation are defined and illustrated, centering on the issue of congruence between the change method and the specific participative approach.
