A reprint of the article which appeared in the Fall 1994 issue is presented, in which the author discusses the work of British film makers Isaac Julien and Maureen Blackwood, and African American author Samuel Delany. He mentions the role of myth in his subjects' works, the use of different kinds of opposites, and how myth can change.
