- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 35-year-old man who was admitted due to pain in his left knee and a peripheral leg ulcer, and was diagnosed during childhood as having Parkes Weber syndrome, a congenital malformation. A computed tomographic (CT) angiogram revealed extensive varicosities of the superficial and deep veins of the left leg, while the CT scan of the left knee showed a massive presence of arteriovenous fistulae.
