Time for paramedic licenses?
- Authors
Woolcock, Mark
- Abstract
The author highlights the value of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in the clinical world. The main problem with the current system of CPD is that it relies too heavily on a higher level of ensuring patient protection and misses professional evolution. The author highlights the need to promulgate a new model based on continuing professional standards (CPS) providing quality assurance suited to delivering good patient care across the spectrum of clinical abilities.
