- Authors
Powell, Tamara
- Abstract
An essay is presented which examines the association of Percival Everett's novel "Erasure" to other African American literature. It says that the novel refers most with Ralph Ellison's "Invisible Man" because they have common themes which include mimesis, genre, and authorial identity. It also reflects on the book of Juanita Mae Jenkins titled "We's Lives in Da Ghetto."
