- Abstract
The article discusses estate planning for persons in second (or subsequent) marriages. Prenuptial agreements sometimes cover certain aspects of estate planning. Ownership of a house after a spouse dies can depend on a variety of factors. A man with children not much younger than his spouse can provide for those children with a life insurance policy. Qualified terminable interest property (QTIP) trusts are useful for passing assets on to one's children. while providing income to the surviving spouse.
