- Abstract
The subject of these researches, The Kızıldeli Soltan Zaviye, is one of the Bektashi Zaviye. Abolishing Janizary Regiment (1826), the Bektashi Chapels of Dervishes (tekke) including Kızıldeli Zaviye related to Janizary body were also restricted functioning. Though the state gets hold of most of the property of Kızıldeli Zaviye and Chapel, the Chapel was not totally closed down. The keepers were appointed to mausoleums in the Zaviye, some of the estates were left to keepers of warden of the mausoleums, and even the Zaviye foundation was minimalized and some amount of income was giwen of the wardens. Those sons of Kızıldeli (Kızıldeli evlâdı) Zaviye tried to re-obtain the past property could not reach their target. Yet, the functions of Chapel continued on and even widened, and part of the estates were obtained.
