- Abstract
The article focuses on laws governing women's human rights in Latin America and the Caribbean. It informs on a report prepared by United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and Caribbean highlighting legal changes favoring gender equality; United Nations Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women for creating equality between women and men; and preventing violence against women, trafficking, and sexual exploitation and prostitution.
