- Abstract
Nearly 30% of patients developed gallstones or cholecystitis 12 months after the bariatric surgery [[5]]. We should pay attention to patients with T2DM or a history of complicated gastrointestinal surgery for the risks of AGAC postoperatively. Secondly, ultrasound screening of gallbladder wall thickness greater than or equal to 3.5 mm is generally accepted to be diagnostic of AGAC in critically ill patients [[3]].
